Work That Needs Careful Hands
Pad printing is a small detail job that carries real responsibility. The work can involve artwork preparation, plate exposure, ink mixing, silicone pad setup, curing choices and checking each print for clean transfer on plastics, metals and coated parts. In a medical or electronics setting, a tiny mark out of place can cause rework, so we hire people who pay attention from the first sample through to the packed job.
Our team works from Westmead, Pinetown, serving Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pretoria and Gqeberha.
Print room roles
We do not publish a fixed vacancy list here, because the team changes as production needs change. We do however hire for practical roles across the workshop, artwork area and client side. If you have experience in printing, manufacturing, machine setup or technical support, your CV is welcome through the contact page form.
- Machine setup and production support
- Artwork redraws and print area planning

Who PadPrinters hires
We value people who arrive on time, follow instructions and keep their work area tidy. A good fit is someone who can learn the detail of pad printing, ask clear questions and work calmly when a job needs rerun control or an adhesion test sample before full production starts.
- Comfort with fine detail and repeat checks
- Basic manufacturing or print shop experience
- Respect for client specifications and deadlines
- Willingness to learn inks, curing and fixtures
- A practical attitude toward teamwork and safety
How The Work Flows Day To Day
A typical day can move from sample checking to plate preparation, then on to production runs and dispatch packing. For medical and electronics work, the order matters. A clear artwork file, the right print area, good fixture making and the correct curing method all help produce markings that stay legible and neat on the component.
Our team works with local and national customers, so the pace changes depending on whether we are supporting Pinetown Printing Support, Durban Manufacturers, Johannesburg Supply or clients in Pretoria, Cape Town and Gqeberha. That variety keeps the work practical and hands on, not repetitive in the boring sense.
